Are you a DIY bride who enjoys being creative and wants to produce something bespoke and personalised for your big day. printed.com contacted me to share some great news. They have introduced The Wedding Collection fit for any bride to order and design their own wedding stationary.
So what exactly can you design and order?
Well pretty much your entire wedding stationary. With everything from menus, table plans, and belly bands to invitations, RSVP cards and even magnetic save the date cards. If it’s personalised wedding stationery you’re after, they can offer a range of individually named products, just upload the guest list with your artwork and leave the rest up to them!
In 3 short steps its as easy as this:
1. Select your product from the products page.
2. Choose your specifications (size, paper stock, paper weight, finishing options)
3. Get your quote
The Process:
Let me take you through the process to get an idea of how simple it is to order and design your own wedding stationary.
1. First you pick a product, for example a mounted table plan
2. You would then choose your size and whether you want it landscape or portrait.
3 Next you choose your paper finishes, matt or gloss, and for this particular product, mount size. The option images are onscreen and really does give you a good guide to size. I choose 5mm foamcore and matt finish one side laminated in matt the cost is £20.09 inc VAT.
4. At this point you can either save the quote or proceed. If you proceed you must have an image ready to upload. If you wish to create your own artwork, use the free artwork templates. Download your chosen format by clicking on one of the icons. Each template is blank, ready for you to add your artwork and save as a PDF file to upload for print. If your chosen format isn’t there, then use the PDF format for guidance when creating artwork.
Its that simple…
Other bits of info:
They do offer sample option with colour chart just go to http://www.printed.com/contact-us, select the “order sample pack” from the drop down options on the form. If you do get stuck for any reason and need advice, you can ask for help on the support page plus there are tutorials in place to help. Personally I could see me of a night, on the settee, laptop in hand creating my invites, whilst having a brew and chilling out watching a movie (Bride Wars is a fav wedding film of mine)….#Perfectweddingplanning. The best bit about it all if you’re not happy with your order, they promise to reprint it straight away, or offer you a full refund. Have a look at the video to see more about what printed.com has to offer.
Below are some product examples.
THE PAPER:
So I guess now you have made your mind up with the products you want to purchase and design, the next mindfield would be choosing the right paper?? I took a look at the paper guide and its really simplified and descriptive with a suggestion at the end for what paper would be the best use for each product. The images on the ordering page are really clear but if your not sure you can always order a sample. The paper ranges from the eco friendly, to vintage, to the lux . With a wide variety of styles and and options to choose from it’s literally a case of let’s play .
