When you hear about wedding zines what are you thinking one is???
Do you even know????
Well for me a true zine is a hand drawn mini paper magazine which can be created to showcase your own style and vision . It can also become a collectable item, especially if the artist becomes famous in his/her own right.
Most importantly they should be limited edition and be either saved or passed on to someone else to read.
That’s my description this is Wikis

“A zine (/ˈziːn/ zeen; an abbreviation of fanzine, or magazine) is most commonly a small circulation self-published work of original or appropriated texts and images usually reproduced via photocopier.”

I really wanted to do a WedZine for my brand and my fayres as I felt it represented my brand and me as a person. I’m naturally creative even though it took me 20+ years to find out and I didn’t want to produce something that every other blog, brand had done. For each of my fayres each bride and exhibitors gets given a limited edition Zine which has all the links of the exhibitors and an about me page on specific exhibitors. All images where hand drawn by my good friends @Jonnyblayart and Gareth Travis (both of which are my fellow work colleagues) whom have helped me create something unique and a little bit left field in the world of weddings. It’s amazing what talent lies within the workplace. Do you really know anything about your work colleagues. I’m glad I do 🙂

So below are some images of our Bridal Chic WedZine from www.barca-manchester.co.uk and www.thedeafinstitute.co.uk
Our superhero’s “Bridal Chic’s” are on each front cover ready to save the bride from a total meltdown because she can’t find suppliers….
Fear not help is on hand

These are just a few of my favourite images before the editing and after.
I think you can see we don’t half have some hidden talented people amongst us.
So to conclude a saying I have stuck by with my evolving Manchester brand Bridal Chic in the City and a question I put to you the reader….
Do you dare to be different?
It might just make your wedding that little bit unique and special but most importantly totally YOU .
