I thought as we had a Temple spa exhibitor at our next event  (Barca Castlefield on 1st March 2015)  I would look into blogging a Pre Wedding Beauty Regime.

The two areas being Beauty & Nutrition as I feel they are both interlinked with each other.

I was looking at the Temple Spa website and came across a 14 day detox plan. Now we all want to look our best on our wedding day, for me I wanted to look like a better me. I was never going to be like the models in the magazines, but there was always room for improvement. I recommend following a sensible eating plan, should you wish to do so. Clean Eating seems to be the way forward, but whatever your choice we would always welcome a little help. I found this cool website The Kitchen Shed  which specialises in this type of plan. My choice back then was good old Weight Watchers. which at the time seemed to work for me, plus a hard core exercise plan. Try the Shaun T – Focus T25 workout. There’s no better focus than like getting into a wedding dress to get you on the straight and narrow!!!!

Below is a typical day on Clean Eating. I dont know about you, but this looks ok…


So back to Temple Spa . I found the below detox plan on their blog and apart from number 9!!! lol, this is pretty achievable. If you click the product name each one takes you to a link.

1. Every morning, drink a glass of room-temp water with a squeeze of lemon juice.

2. Dry brush your entire body with BRUSH OFF body brush, sweeping in long upward strokes starting at the toes. (It might tickle the first time!)

3. Do 30 minutes of cardio (sweat!).  It could be a walk, a run or a dvd.

4. Follow this with a tepid shower, scrubbing all over with SUGAR BUFF body scrub.

5. Touch dry your skin with a big soft towel, then use GO FIGURE slimming gel and NO PAIN NO GAIN massager together on your thighs,tummy and buttocks.

6. Massage DUVET firming body cream everywhere else.

7. Abstain from alcohol. If you can’t, then make sure you have 10 alcohol-free days over the 14 days, and limit any drinks to one glass only. (Yes, seriously!)

8. Drink another 7 glasses of water! (yes 8 altogether, and don’t use a shot glass!)

9. Cut out sugar completely (biscuits, cakes, sweets, cereals, sauces, puddings… )

10. Get 8 hours of sleep a night, and try to go to bed before 10.30pm.

Well thats it…..

It’s worth a shot don’t you think? To be the best bride you can feel, without changing your lifestyle drastically I think this would deffo put you in the pre-wedding body zone.
