This blog is a little bit special. I’ve know Heather for around six years from working previously together, and then both of us going on to have son’s one month apart. They now happen to be little mates too (you’ll see my son Charlie photobombing the pictures later!!!). When Heather announced her engagement and subsequent plans for the wedding I really hoped and wished that the couple would let me blog and share the images from this perfect city wedding….they said Yes!!
Heather and Mark decided on The Midland Hotel in Manchester as their wedding venue, and it’s easy to see why. This venue was where they came on their first date, and the experience that they received with the staff, combined with their love of the building, had not gone away. With a strong feeling that this venue was the one, getting married at The Midland seemed like the perfect place. It’s also interesting to know that it was voted Greater Manchester’s second-favourite building by readers of the Manchester Evening News in 2012. Its stunning architecture and Edwardian baroque style leaves your imagination wondering how the wedding images will unfold.

Wait no longer, read on to see how their special day unfolded….

All the contributors to the big day:

The Flowers were designed and arranged by the owner Emma from Baytree Flowers. You’ll never find a lovelier florist to arrange your wedding day flowers, the room looked stunning. I especially loved the pastel colour pallet with the vivid green, it really bring a contemporary edge to the interior not taking away the traditional element of the decor. I love the teaming of Roses and Peonies together ….very lux .

The dress designed by Lusan Mandongus from Ava Rose Hamilton in Barrowford.

Accessories  – Miu Miu patent pumps and Swarovski stud earrings.
