They sent us over one of their styled shoots to showcase a range of local suppliers from the North West.

The start of the shoot took place inside Yard and Coop 37 Edge Street, Northern Quarter Manchester, which is a bar/restaurant. We chose this place as we fell in love with it’s industrial style decor, reclaimed wood tables, metal seating and most importantly the festoon lights with the most epic cages which create a great atmosphere with their warm glow.

Jenny O’Sullivan who is a model from Liverpool was our bride and she was amazing to work with, really down to earth and knew what to do from the small brief we had given her. We dressed her in a jumpsuit from an internet store and teamed it with an embellished belt from a bridal shop called One Special day in Astley Manchester her shoes are by a high end designer and were Michelle’s own shoes. Jenny who was the epitome of a stylish bride looked super cool, and even commented that this is the exact style she herself would wear on her wedding day. We accessorised her with a floral crown and bridal hoop supplied by Sweetpea and Thyme who are based in Rotherham.

After an hour of shots inside the weather was lovely for Manchester, sunny spells and not too cold so we headed down towards Afflecks Palace. This is a well-known building in Manchester and was once home to the department store Debenhams!!

Here we continued our shoot outside using some of the mosaic pictures as a backdrop which show a lot of Manchester’s history and inventions.

We finished our shoot on Steven Square in the Northern Quarter, there are two beautiful murals in the area and we knew we wanted them included. We love our city and it has so much to offer when it comes to weddings and using the city to take some shots was really exciting for us.

We want to thank the following people who without their help wouldn’t have made this as great as it was, Carly from Carly B Makeup artist, she is a fantastic makeup artist and made us all look amazing, Steve Grogan Photography, his eye for detail is great and really understood the look and feel of the shots we wanted. Dean from Standring Heritage Photography, he really captured all the small details for us. Catherine from Sweetpea and Thyme, we showed her some images of items we wanted for Jenny and she really did deliver we couldn’t have asked for a better person to work with. Last but not least our model Jenny, who not only did she look amazing, she made us laugh all day and really nailed each shot we asked of her!!
