Welcome to the wedding of Mr and Mrs Carlill that took place on the Saturday 28th May 2016 at The Place Aparthotel in Manchester. Emma Boyle Photography contacted me to blog this city wedding shoot and of course I had to say yes. Written in Emma’s own words here is a little background to Alison and Tom’s wedding day.

“The theme of the day was a real urban Styled modern shoot. With the wedding being City Centre Manchester the couple really wanted to embrace the urban background and amazing views from the roof terrace overlooking the whole of the city”. Emma says “When someone mentions an urban wedding I can’t help but immediately want to be part of it.  Having already shot a few Manchester weddings, I was more than excited when Tom and Alison asked me to photograph their wedding at the  The Place Aparthotel. Now lots of rooms at hotels are snug the say the least, and when you have a bridal party getting ready in one room it can be a tight squeeze with hair, make-up and myself…… not at this hotel.  The rooms are amazing or should I say apartments, what a fabulous place to get ready, with lots of natural light and the most amazing views over Manchester. From the moment I met Alison and Tom at their home, I could tell the wedding would be amazing.  Two super relaxed people, with the added fun and love of their family and friends, the day truly was special. Tom & Alison thanks for being an amazing and welcoming couple to photograph.”
